Tupac Shakur was honored with the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star 27 years after his death on June 7, 2023. Live hosted a “Wake Me When I’m Free” immersive experience, honoring the late rapper, poet, actor, and activist. In 2015, the Grammy Museum unveiled an “All Eyez on Me” exhibit and recently, in 2022, The Canvas L.A. Tupac was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in April 2017. His music struck a chord with audiences around the world and earned him legions of devoted fans. He was unafraid to speak his mind and was known for his aggressive delivery and powerful stage presence. Tupac’s (2pac) music was characterized by his honest and provocative lyrics, which often dealt with issues like poverty, racism, police brutality, and social injustice. Despite these challenges, he developed a passion for music and began writing and performing rap songs as a teenager. Born on June 16, 1971, in East Harlem, New York, Tupac grew up in a turbulent environment and was exposed to poverty, crime, and violence from a young age. Tupac Shakur, also known as 2Pac, was one of the most influential and iconic figures in the history of hip-hop music. 2Pac’s father Billy Garland says the government is to blame for his son’s death while his bodyguard admits the rapper was shot after stomping a Crip at the MGM Grand in Vegas following a Tyson fight.
